MeteoBridge and Saratoga-Weather Template
« on: May 30, 2015, 08:28:06 PM »
I am using Ken's Base Canada template and MeteoBridge. I have MeteoBridge uploading the files to my server but on my website home page it says "Note: ajax-dashboard not included since weather station not yet specified." Could someone please help me out with this?

Thanks in advance!

Did you follow the instructions and set up meteobridge in the template?

http://saratoga-weather.org/wxtemplates/Settings-config-MB.php

Well if your file is being uploaded to the server properly then meteobridge is set correctly. There is some problem with the way you specified the parameters in the template. Unfortunately I never used this template, but try going through the instructions again and make sure the settings php files are correctly set up.

It seems like you havent configured anything in the settings, your weather software for example is also not specified in the configuration.

Two possibilities:
1. You have not configured it in the Settings
2. You have configured it, but not saved and uploaded properly

I'm wondering if maybe meteobridge isnt uploading data. I took a look at the data files that MB is uploading and no data is showing up other than the template.

You've got to overcome the
Weather Software not yet specified .. no status to report.
issue before you can tackle the data or lack of.

You've downloaded the correct zip - Meteobridge not Meteohub?

I was able to open http://ajaxweather.altervista.org/wxindex.php earlier but now page not found,
and not found http://ajaxweather.altervista.org/MBrealtime.txt

so some settings not correct or not set.

I changed it to index.php to see if that would do anything but nothing. I don't have the real time setup only MBtags. Do I need to have realtime setup?

index.php worked but the site is extremely slow and only shows the basic template structure, no data or dashboard.  Not sure if realtime is actually needed to get it working but just looked for it to see if upload was working.

If you've got the correct download, and all the settings correct then, sorry, I can't be of any help (I use the Base Canada CU template set)

Ya I'm not sure why it's so slow right now. Only started being slow after I setup meteobridge

What upload interval did you choose?

That should be fine so you really must have done something wrong in the settings.

I just can't figure out what though. I might just re upload a new file and edit it again and see what happens. I emailed ken so I'll see if he can help

That should be fine so you really must have done something wrong in the settings.
http://ajaxweather.altervista.org/index.php  => error message weather station not yet specified
This message is printed by your index.php because the settings
$SITE['ajaxDashboard'] is not set yet, should be set at line 63 in Settings-Weather.php MB version
$SITE['WXsoftware'] is not set yet, should be set at line 58 in Settings-Weather.php MB version
Code: [Select]
$SITE['WXsoftware']     = 'MB';  // 'WD' for Weather-Display, 'CU' for Virtual Weather Station,
// 'CU' for Cumulus, 'CU' for Cumulus, 'WXS' for WXSolution
                                 // 'MH' for Meteohub

Settings-weather.php is NOT in your "root", neither is Settings-weather-MB.php.

http://ajaxweather.altervista.org/Settings-weather.php  gives a 404-error = file not found
http://ajaxweather.altervista.org/Settings-weather-MB.php gives a 404-error = file not found
http://ajaxweather.altervista.org/Settings-language.php gives a 404 error = file not found
So it seems some files are not uploaded to your website yet.

Youshould upload these files from the Meteobridge plugin you have? downloaded from the Saratoga site.
