ISS on Vue Keeps Dropping Off
« on: July 13, 2019, 12:48:29 PM »
I can't count how many times my Vue has lost signal from the ISS and I have to manually get it back online again. I've tried many things including calling customer service more than once, no luck. No there isn't another Vue in the area. Yes it has a new battery in the ISS. No there aren't any shortwave radio towers / antenna in the area. Yes it's well within a 1000 feet of the display unit. There are times it goes several days with no issues, and there are times that in a 24 hour period it drops several times. Any ideas?

What's the typical RSSI (top right parameter on the second wireless diagnostic screen)? Is it weaker/larger/more negative than -85?

Is this a new problem or something you've had since day one?

Occasional since last fall. I purchased the WX station in 2013.

I'm not quite sure where to find that, sorry.
