Forecasting using my Aws?
« on: January 21, 2010, 02:02:23 AM »
I have a vantage vue that uses Weatherlink ip to send data to WL.com, WU and CWOP.

I have to take a hands free approach and so use the WL ip as the station is at work and I cannot run software at work all day and night.

I was wondering if anyone knows of or uses anything online to provide a forecast using data from their pws?

I have looked at the Sager algorithm and also Wxsim. The former needs input by the user which I would like to avoid if possible and the latter requires software running and is too costly for my school now.

Is there anything that anyone can suggest? I am sure in the uk our met office or Bbc forecasts are better than anything I could get from the vue most of the time, but it would just be a bit of fun to compare our forecast with theirs.

Thanks in advance.
